PCEM training course of was held on September-October 2011 at two 3-week levels and 17 representatives from Afghanistan, Georgia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Thailand, and Turkey participated in this course.

ECO-IEST: PCEM training course of was held on September-October 2011 at two 3-week levels and 17 representatives from Afghanistan, Georgia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Thailand, and Turkey participated in this course. 
The focus of this course was on different technical modules and a number of field visits related to the environmental management, its goal was providing the participants with skills for translating environmental knowledge into specific policy, management and practical strategies. 
Contents of this course were designed so that included not only theoretical but also practical work and group activities. MEA, environmental economy, sustainable development, CEPA and participatory approaches, environmental law, ethics and policy, human ecology, marine pollution and ecosystems and introductionto the international environmental conventions and treaties, like CBD, CITES, IUCN, MAB, etc were the most highlighted subjects of this course.
